Elizabeth Saab

Elizabeth Saab became a reporter to shine a light on issues that affect the well being of entire communities. She is most passionate about children's issues, in particular their safety and education. Elizabeth is also fascinated by how science and technology are shaping our future. This fascination led to her reporting on topics such as NASA, Space X and emerging technology products.

Elizabeth began her career in New York City at NY1 as a news photographer and field reporter. From there, she moved to a cable news outlet in New York where she wrote and edited her own stories. She was an inaugural member of the video team for The Daily, the first daily interactive news publication for smart phones and tablet computers. Her stories have aired on FOX News, Sky News and local Fox affiliates across the country.

Prior to joining FOX 7 News in Austin, Elizabeth worked as an on-air reporter for FoxNews.com.

Subjects of her interviews have included newsmakers and celebrities. She had a coveted guest spot on ABC's The View, where she traded opinions on news and current events with Barbara Walters.

As a native Texan, Elizabeth is grateful for the opportunity to return to Austin and report on issues that are most important to the people who live, work and raise their families in her home state.
