Nick Spinetto

Nick Spinetto is part of the Good Day Austin team. He joined FOX 7 from New England where he was a reporter at WMUR-TV. A Boston native and Emerson College alum, Nick has traveled the country reporting and anchoring in various cities, but Austin is where he's always wanted to call home.

An Emmy nominated journalist, Nick has been in the thick of massive brush fires, freezing snow storms and destructive hurricanes. In 2013, Nick was part of a team who won a Golden Mic award for "Spot News" for his Hurricane Sandy coverage. He was on the front lines the day of the Boston Marathon bombings reporting and field anchoring for hours about the terror attack, its victims and heroes. Most notably, Nick was the first journalist to interview the man carjacked by the bombing suspects the night one was killed and the other captured. The story aired on networks across the world. Nick's work has also aired on Anderson Copper 360, CNN, BBC, Inside Edition, Dr. Phil and the FOX News Channel.

When Nick isn't waking up at 1:30am for Good Day Austin, he is spending time with his wife Lindsay and their three boys exploring the Austin area.
