Ashley Paredez

Ashley Paredez is a reporter for the FOX 7 News Edge. The San Antonio native graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Her career began in Amarillo, Texas at KFDA. She started as a producer and later became a reporter and weekend anchor. She also helped redesign the NewsChannel 10 Early Show and was part of the "A-team" as an anchor, reporter and executive producer.

Her most memorable story was covering the tornado damage in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Ashley's coverage and efforts helped raise thousands of dollars in donations for victims. While in Amarillo, she also covered the controversial cloning trial with the American Quarter Horse Association.

Ashley has interviewed many political leaders, including former President George W. Bush, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, Senator Kel Seliger, U.S. Congressman Mac Thornberry, State Representative Four Price and State Representative John Smithee.
