  • The site will display in one of 5 different sizes based on the screen size of the device/breakpoint & orientation being used to view it. The sizes are X-Small (0-640), Small (641-767), Medium (768-1023), Large (1024-1279) & Xtra- Large (1280+).
  • Slideshows – 300x250 ad will show every 3 clicks on an arrow in any direction or on any thumbnail within the gallery.

  • We can geo-target by City, State, Country, Zip Code, Area Code, or DMA (*** Mobile Web cannot geo-target ***)
  • We can tech-target by Device Type, Operating System, Web Browser or ISP
  • We can target by specific day and/or day-part (by the hour)

Ad behavior/properties

  • File size max 100k
  • Animated ads should not exceed 3 loops / :15 animation
  • Animated ads frame rate should be 12-18 fps
  • All ads that are clicked on should spawn a new window and not take the user away from our website
  • We accept 3rd party tags
  • All 3rd party tags should be sent as a .txt file as an attachment and not in the body of an e-mail
  • Our pages (content) refreshes every 10 minutes, but our ad positions refresh every 2 minutes

Rich Media

  • Expandable panels must have a visible close button (X CLOSE) 100% of the time located within the expanded panel
  • The method in which an expandable opened should also be used to close it. For example, if the ad expanded on click, it should close on click. If it opened on mouse over, it should close on mouse out.
  • Audio on video may not play automatically (must be user initiated)
  • Stop, Mute and Start buttons are required for all ads with audio/video
  • Peelback specs – collapsed is 126x126; expanded is 650x650
  • Expanding ads we build (non 3rd party) will lay-over page, not push down content.
  • Expanding ads we build (non 3rd party) will have the option of expanding on mouse over or click
  • Expanding ads we build (non 3rd party) will have the option of which direction to expand
  • Expanding ads we build (non 3rd party) will auto collapse after 7 seconds
  • Floating ads we build (non 3rd party) will auto collapse after 7 seconds
  • Size of floating ads is variable
    • Pageskins
      • The pageskin consists of two jpg’s; one for the left rail and one for the right. If you want to run the same image in both, that is fine as well.
      • All images should be jpg file type.
      • The jpg’s should be sized to 140x760 each.
    • Expanding Ads
      • 728x90 expands to 728x315
      • 300x250 expands to 600x250
      • 300x600 expands to 600x600
      • 970x66 expands to 970x418
      • 320x50 expands to 320x416


  • We have the ability to serve both pre & mid roll video
  • We can link a pre/post roll video with the 300x250 with a 1:1 ratio.
  • Acceptable file type – MP4; 720p
  • We can track video impressions at 3 points within the video play (beginning, middle, end) but would need 3 separate 1x1 tracking tags for that. These are optional
  • Our video ads are clickable
  • Standard Frames Per Second for video = 30 FPS
  • Video files will be stored in Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service), only a URL should be sent to FWT as creative, not the video file.
  • “Skip ad” feature will function for video after 5 seconds. This will not work for anyone using a VAST redirect URL
  • Video's will auto-play. After the story plays, it will continue to another story, with a mid-roll ad between them
  • We can target pre-roll vs. mid-roll; ROS will target both
  • We will have the ability to run overlays (a.k.a. lower thirds). The creative for them should be a 728x90 jpg. They can be stand-alone or be tied to the pre-roll of the same video story
  • An impression will be counted at the start of the video (regardless of whether or not it was skipped).

  • Video is trafficked through DFP, takes about 4 hours to update on the app
  • MP4 files only; :30 or less
  • Display – 320x50 (all phones), 468x60 (Android tablet), 728x90 (iPad)
  • The pre-roll only runs before the stream along with the display banner ads. The banner ads disappear when the stream starts. During the stream the user sees what is running on air (including commercials).
