Chef Bill Lewis from Punch Bowl Social shares a recipe that you can make for your Super Bowl party.
The recipe for spicy edamame as follows.
1 tbs oil
10oz soy beans
3-4 ea garlic clove
2 oz chili roasted peanut
3-4 chili de arbol
1.5 oz sesame oil
1ts crushed chili flakes
Sea salt to taste
Juice of fresh lemon to taste
-To begin gather all ingredients.
-Heat a medium size saute pan over high heat.
-Add oil and let stand until it is close to smoke point.
-Then add the soy bean pods, garlic, and whole chilies.
-Let stand for about 2-3 min until the pods are taking on color.
-Then flip pan and add the chili flakes.
-Remove from heat and add the sesame oil and return to heat.
-Then add the chili roasted nuts and season with sea salt and lemon juice.
