It was a rough state semifinal Thursday for area girls basketball teams including Class 5A's top-ranked Vista Ridge.
The Lady Rangers were in a tough one against #7 Dallas Adams. Tipping off a little after 9 p.m. at the Alamodome, the game featured four future Division 1 college players on Vista Ridge's roster, including TCU commits Mikayla Christian and Danielle Rainey.
Dallas Adams ran out to a 10 point half time lead. Vista Ridge would have to erase a 13 point deficit in the final two minutes to take the lead only to see Dallas Adams hit the game-winner with under five seconds to play.
Dallas Adams wins it 65-64 and Vista Ridge's history making run ends in the semis.
