East Austin College Prep thanks donors with viral video

East Austin College Prep made a viral video to say thank you for donations made during the 2015 Amplify Austin Campaign.

The video features some of East Austin's most treasured small businesses in addition to some familiar faces.

According to a press release by the non profit Southwest Key Program, "Students at East Austin College Prep (EAPrep) rallied their neighbors to create a music video thanking donors who supported the school during this year's Amplify Austin fundraising campaign. Individuals who donated to support the non-profit, public, charter school received an email earlier this week that included a link to a video featuring the Pitbull song 'Celebrate' and EAPrep students, faculty and staff dancing a choreographed number and sporting hand-held signs thanking each individual donor by name. Community members at iconic East Austin locations also joined in the fun, dancing and lip synching to the song. The video, which already has over 1400 views, ends with the line, 'When you help East Austin College Prep, you help East Austin.'"
