SXSW Film 2016: 'Preacher'

The popular, cult comic book franchise "Preacher" is now a television series and premiered its pilot episode at the Paramount Theatre.

The series follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer who is inhabited by a mysterious entity which causes him to develop a high ununual power. You can find out more on the series here.

Executive producers of the series Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, showrunner, EP and writer Sam Catlin and stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga and Joseph Gilgun attended the premiere and spoke on the red carpet.
