AAPI Month: Austin Dance India performance
In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, Austin Dance India is premiering Sacred Balance: The Dance of Shiva and Shakti on Sunday, May 31st, 2026, at the Austin Hindu Temple Community Hall. Artistic Director Anuradha Naimpally stopped by the studio to showcase a live preview of this stunning southern Indian Bharata Natyam performance, which utilizes powerful rhythms and traditional storytelling to explore the cosmic balance between the divine masculine and feminine.
