Pesto Pita Pizza!
1 Whole Wheat Pita
1 Sliced tomato
Optional: olives, sun dried tomatoes, peas, cheese
- 1 cup (packed) chopped fresh basil
- ¼ cup walnuts
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 2 cloves minced garlic
For pesto: Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth. Add water as needed for consistency.
For pizza: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread pesto on pita and top with desired toppings. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool, and enjoy!
