Emily Madden from H-E-B Cooking Connection shares a healthier, lighter side dish you can put on the tablet his Thanksgiving.
The recipe is as follows:
3 Tbsp Roberts Reserve Pear Walnut Amaretto Jam
1 Tbsp white wine vinegar
1 Tbsp Rustico Unfiltered Olive Oil
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup chopped apple - Fuji, Honeycrisp, or Gala
1/4 cup toasted walnuts
1/4 cup grated Grana Padano
* In a mixing bowl, whisk together Pear Amaretto jam, white wine vinegar, Rustico Olive Oil, salt and pepper.
* Toss dressing with apples, walnuts, and dressing. Top with grated Grana Padano.
