Sake Mac & Cheese
1 oz sake
5 oz heavy whipping cream
8 oz spiral pasta (cooked)
4 oz sharp cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon hondashi (Japanese seasoning)
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
1 teaspoon of chopped green onion
Pre- cook the spiral pasta in boiling water about 10 min, cool down with running water,
Then mix with little vegetable oil (avoid the spiral pasta stick together)
Pre-heated a sauté pan, put the sake first, follow by heavy whipping cream, until it boil, then put the pre-cooked spiral pasta, ½ portion of sharp cheddar cheese and all seasoning together, mixed well and cooked about 2 min to boil, then put it into a serving bowl, put the rest of the cheddar cheese and sprinkle with green onion.
