The annual Taste of Mexico food festival is back for the 21st year in time for Cinco de Mayo.
The festival will have over 50 vendors with desserts, food, mezcal, and tequila, all ready to show their best take on the night's theme, Puebla.
The event is on Wednesday, May 1 at Brazos Hall in downtown Austin and will benefit education and screening programs at the Mexic-Arte Museum.
Preservation Austin is hosting their 27th annual homes tour, showcasing the craftsman style, on Saturday, April 27.
The tour is designed to educate the community on the importance of maintaining Austin's historic homes. Seven homes will be showcased on the tour.
The tour celebrates different aspects of Austin's cultural and architectural heritage and also celebrates homeowners that are doing really incredible and hard preservation work all throughout the city, says Preservation Austin program director Linday Derrington.
