Hundreds of thousands traveling for Thanksgiving

Millions of people are hitting the road the for the holiday. 

In fact, AAA predicts this Thanksgiving will be the busiest travel period in more than a decade. 

Making today one of the busiest days of the year in airports across the country. According to AAA, more than 50 million Americans are traveling at least 50 miles for Thanksgiving. 

Most will hit the road but about four million people are expected to fly somewhere this week. 

For the first time, Austinites can fly out of two different terminals this Thanksgiving since the opening of the new South Terminal. According to ABIA, that doesn't necessarily mean less traffic but it definitely helps streamline the process.
