Brian Contreras honors one of the The Driskill's most iconic guests, President Lyndon Johnson, as it celebrates its 130th anniversary.
The recipe is as follows:
Yield: 4 servings
2 cups Greek Yogurt
2 cups Peach Puree – “Perfect Puree Brand”
1 Cup Simple Syrup (recipe to follow)
1. In a bowl, mix peach puree and greek yogurt together until uniform
2. Mix in simple syrup
3. Place into ice cream machine and process until it reaches the consistency of ice
4. Serve immediately alongside peach cobbler or transfer to lidded container and
place in freezer until ready to serve.

1 Cup Granulated Sugar
1. In a small saucepot, combine both ingredients and heat on stove on medium high
heat. Bring to a simmer, and continue to heat until sugar is dissolved. Set aside
