Monday's Meal: Polpette

Daniela Marcone from Andiamo Ristorante talks about the restaurant and meatballs.

The recipe is as follows:


6 oz Ground beef
4 oz bread crumbs
1 ea egg
1 ea fresh garlic clove
1 oz pecorino Romano
1 oz chopped Italian Parsley
Salt and pepper to taste.


-Mix all the ingredients together and make small balls out of it, 2oz each.
-Fry the meat balls.
-In a pan heat 1 tbs olive oil, add 1 pinch of chopped parsley, 1/2 chopped fresh tomato and half cup of tomato sauce.
-Once prepared the tomato sauce, add the fried meatballs, salt and pepper to taste.
