Nonprofits for veterans and active military members

Military life is difficult – men and women selflessly serve our nation, while working for little pay, putting their lives on the line, and dealing with the secondary affects that can tear families apart.

On this Veteran's Day, we wanted to not only thank all of our former and current service members out there - but also talk about some really great groups that help our veterans and active duty military members.

WISH for OUR HEROES (W4OH) is dedicated to assisting the men and women of the United States active-duty military, and in some cases, veterans. WISH for OUR HEROES started with the goal of providing one wish for every deserving military member.

Honor Flight Austin has successfully and proudly taken 2000 veterans to our Nation’s Capital to visit and experience the Memorials built in their honor. With your continued help, Honor Flight Austin will continue to do whatever it takes to fulfill the dreams of our veterans and help our heroes travel absolutely free to visit their Memorial.

USO Fort Hood supports our local military community. Their mission is to strengthen America’s Service members by keeping them connect to family, home and country.

Operation Supply Drop serves active-duty members by sending care packages courtesy of their gaming partners while they develop substantial programming to work with veterans during their transition home. The programs at Operation Supply Drop address mental health, homelessness, and employment for veterans and their families.

All donations to nonprofit, 501(c)3 organizations are tax deductible.

We appreciate your continued support!
