Real Texans Wear Uniforms campaign

A large number of Texas firefighters are volunteer and right now there's a huge need for more. A campaign has been launched to help recruit and retain. FOX 7 Austin's Tierra Neubaum has more from the Manchaca Fire Station.

The SFFMA has set up a website at for interested individuals to learn more about becoming a firefighter. The website will direct interested parties to the local fire departments for them to interface with the fire department in their area for more detailed information.
