The recipe is as follows:
2 chicken breasts
1 jar Cookwell & Company hatch Tomatillo Salsa
1 pkg flatbreads or pita breads
2 cups shredded cabbage, or lettuce
1 bag Mi Comida 6 Quesos Tipo Mexicana
1/2 cup Mexican Crema
1/4 cup Cookwell & Company Mojo marinade
Humble House Guajillo & Rd Jalapeno hot sauce
lime wedges for garnish
- Place chicken and tomatillo salsa in crock pot with 1 cup of water. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours. When done remove and shred.
- Mix Mexican Crema and Mojo marinade.
- Heat flat bread in skillet until warm and lightly toasted on each side.
- Place chicken on bottom, then top with cabbage, cheese, crema mixture, red jalapeno sauce, and garnish with lime.
