FOX 7 Makes Miracles Happen

This year FOX 7 partnered up with Mix 94.7 to raise some money for Dell Children's Medical Center.

We featured several stories highlighting some amazing people who were helped a great deal by Dell Children's.

Watch them here.

Patton Jones - In March of 2011, he was diagnosed with a rare type of lymphoma, called Burkitt's lymphoma.  Young Patton underwent five rounds of chemotherapy and was in Dell until July 2011.

Ashen Fonseka - FOX 7's Ann Wyatt Little has this story about A Cedar Park teen fighting leukemia during his senior year of high school. According to the staff, every year, between 100 and 110 children will be diagnosed with cancer at Dell Children's.

Rachel Livitz - Rachel is a 10-year-old who spent 10 days at Dell after a scooter accident last spring. She had a lacerated liver, and damage to her kidneys and lungs. It was a scary time for her mom, Susan, but the staff at Dell helped ease her fears.

Oshlianna Stewart - Hundreds of children across Central Texas are living life as cancer survivors. There's a place for them to feel connected to one another at Dell Children's Medical Center.

Devon Vogel - Little Devon was born with an immune system that makes it very hard for him to fight off infections. He was just about two-years old when he was first diagnosed. He's now 13, and at one point Devon spent 31 days in Dell. Because of his immune disorders, he's a frequent patient there.

Anthony Arghami - Sam Arghami's 16 year old son Anthony was a healthy, active teenager in August. By mid-September he was hospitalized with an undiagnosed illness. He was having seizures, hallucinating, suffered from insomnia and lost about 40 pounds.

Global Outreach - Care for kids at Dell Children's medical center goes far beyond the walls of this hospital. It's also a developed a global health initiative to help children in third world countries.

Project Search - Searching for the perfect job can be tough, if you have a learning disability, it can be even harder. That's why Dell Children's Medical Center has an employment project designed to place people with disabilities with the right career in the hospital.
