Seattle Police Department releases dramatic video of car chase & shootout

Seattle Police Department released dramatic video on YouTube of a car chase the ended in a shootout.

According to the video's caption. "Seattle Police Department investigators are piecing together the trail of a 35-year-old violent felon after he brandished two handguns at several downtown businesses Sunday, carjacked three vehicles and fired on officers before a fatal confrontation with police in Northeast Seattle."

Q13FOX in Seattle reports that, "One officer attempted to disable the suspect’s vehicle by ramming it near Roosevelt and NE 45th Street. Dashcam video of the jarring collision shows an officer slamming his patrol car into the suspect’s vehicle, crushing the patrol car’s front end and pushing the Camaro into the intersection."

Q13 went on to report that the suspect died at the scene. 

The intense video shows multiple angles.  

FOX News Insider reports that, "As his car started moving again toward the officers, they fired dozens of rounds until the suspect was killed."
