The Austin Police Department says it is investigating an incident on Saturday night involving police and what looks like a crowd of people that was caught on cell phone video and posted on YouTube.

The person who posted the video says in the description on YouTube that all they saw was someone get tackled by a single police officer and then the incident occurred.
The video shows police controlling the crowd on Sixth Street and mounted patrol going through a crowd. A mounted patrol officer is seen grabbing a cell phone out of someone's hand and then dropping it and another officer is seen spraying someone with mace.
APD says it is aware of the incident and is conducting a review to determine if the officers conduct is complaint with its policies.
