More Charges for Woman Accused of Impersonating Nurse

Duluth Police have filed five more charges against the woman accused of posing as a nurse while helping to care for Bobbi Kristina Brown during her final days.

Police have issued four warrants for impersonating a nurse and a fifth felony warrant for identify theft.

Earlier today, Bond was set for a woman accused of impersonating a nurse. It’s a story the FOX 5 I-Team first brought you earlier this week.

Taiwo Sobamowo is being held in the Forsyth County jail on charges of Identity theft, forgery and impersonating a nurse. Thursday morning, a judge issued her a $25,000 cash bond on the charge that she practiced nursing without a license and an additional $2,420 bond for the two felony fraud counts.

Investigators said she used a stolen identity and nursing license number to get a job with a local hospice company. Sobamowo was employed by Homestead Hospice and Palliative Care, which contracted with Peachtree Christian Hospice to provide care for Bobbi Kristina.

Duluth Police investigators said documents show Sobamowo was in charge of the care for Bobbi Kristina. However, Peachtree Christian Hospice recently issued a statement saying Sobamowo never provided any hands on care for any of their patients.
