Every little bit of rain helps especially out in the Hill Country. The LCRA says while the rain is nice it hasn't done much to change the levels in Lake Travis and Lake Buchanan.
If the lakes go up it will be slowly and measured in inches instead of feet.
The steady rain was a welcome site for people in the Hill Country.
"The buzz is it's raining and we love it," said Patti Zinsmeyer with the Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce.
She soaked up the good news. "If I could go outside and dance in it I would," she laughed.
Paul Brady keeps an eye on the weather. He owns River City Grille in Marble Falls.
"It looks like we got more than an inch and it may have fallen in the right spots and hopefully it continues," said Brady.
He served happy and damp customers.
"Our very first customers were two ladies soaking wet and I offered them a towel and she said no I'm enjoying this," said Brady.
"This part of the country we need rain so bad that I don't think anyone would be upset if it rained for the next ten days in a row," said Zinsmeyer.
While the wet weather is a welcome site those in the Hill Country more days like Wednesday are needed.
