MusiCares supporting musical community effected by the #txflood

This press release comes to FOX 7 from The Recording Academy Texas Chapter

Central Texans have undergone extreme weather conditions over the past few days with flooding and tornados declaring disaster areas in 37 counties so far. Many Texas families and business owners have been severely affected by the unfortunate torrential weather conditions in our area, as well as in parts of Oklahoma.

MusiCares®—one of The Recording Academy's two charitable arms -is here to help provide financial assistance to those that have experienced any recent property damage, instrument loss or additional personal-loss due to the inclement weather conditions. Music industry professionals may contact MusiCares at the office listed below. MusiCares and The Recording Academy Texas Chapter are here to support and serve the Texasa music community, in times of need. A music industry professional does not need to be a Recording Academy member to be eligible for financial assistance.
