Austin firefighters, police officers rescue deer caught in batting cage net

AUSTIN, Texas - Austin firefighters and police officers teamed up on an unusual call Saturday: rescuing a deer from a batting cage net.

The Austin Fire Department shared video and photos of the rescue on Twitter.

According to AFD, the rescue took 15 minutes. Officers and firefighters held the buck in place, so they could cut the netting off his antlers.
