Big fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters Central Texas
AUSTIN, Texas - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas is gearing up for a big fundraising event and the organization needs your help.
The non-profit serves nearly a thousand children in Travis, Williamson and Hays counties by matching them with caring adult mentors who offer encouragement, friendship, and support to their 'littles'.
One of their biggest fundraisers, Trudy's Bowl For Kids, kicks off today and runs through the weekend. Volunteers raise money for the non-profit by forming a bowling team and collecting donations.
