Centreville High School teacher Kelly Hennessa and her son were in a terrible car accident last year. Their injuries were so bad that both were in comas - Kelly for two months and her son for about a week.

To help Kelly during her recovery, her husband Greg would play his wife's favorite David Cassidy songs for her. Kelly especially liked the song "I Think I Love You," and her husband says he would always see a small grin come to her face when the song played.

It's been months since Kelly came out of the coma and her recovery is still ongoing. But on Sunday, she was able to meet the man whose songs helped her through it all - David Cassidy himself.

Friends and family helped spread the work of her recovery - and once Cassidy's managers found out her story, they made her dream come true.

Before his show in Alexandria, Kelly met the star who helped her during her struggle.

Kelly's recovery continues - to help, you can donate on her GoFundMe page:
