Flash Flood Advisory issued for Central Texas

The National Weather Services has issued a flash flood advisory for most of Central Texas through Sunday.

A warning was allowed to expire but an advisory has been extended until 12:45 P.M.

Some of the areas that are under the warning include, Comal County, Hays County, Burnet County, Travis County, Kendall County, Blanco County, and Williamson County.

Flooding is being reported on several low-water crossings. Over a hundred low water crossings are closed after several days of steady rain. Officials are warning everyone to not attempt driving through standing water.

With the couple of inches of rainfall on Sunday, this is officially the wettest May in a long time.
