Michael Hambrick said looking for his missing 2 1/2-year-old son has been the toughest thing he has had to do. Hambrick has had no contact with his son Lane for 14 months.

Hambrick said his son's mother, Chelsea Cullen, took the young boy in the middle of the night last June.

Since then, the Gwinnett County business owner said he has prayed, hired professional help, and even looked himself, but found nothing.

"I've done everything a man can do. I hired private investigators. We've been in five states, found her in two. I've done everything I can,” said Hambrick.

After spending $200,000 later, Hambrick said his former girlfriend has fled the state. He said on every occasion, he's been one step behind Cullen.

He showed FOX 5’s Aungelique Proctor pictures the couple took during happier times with Hambrick's 7-year-old son, Logan, who is not Cullen's son.

The father of two said dealing with Logan's pain has been tough. The second grader has had just one request.

"’Dad, please bring my brother back.’ You know being a dad and your son's praying to God he's going to get his brother the next day. And as a father you're doing all you can, but... I can't fix it," an emotional Hambrick admitted.

This routine custody battle escalated to a criminal case when a Gwinnett County grand jury indicted the 28-year-old mother back in June.

An arrest warrant has been issued and the fugitive squad is now looking for Cullen.

Gwinnett District Attorney Danny Porter told FOX 5 News that the felony interference with custody warrant is rare, but is warranted in this case.

Meanwhile, Hambrick refuses to give up.

"Getting my son back, that's all that matters to me. My two boys that's it," Mr. Hambrick sighed.
