Google celebrates 155th Anniversary of The Pony Express

The Internet search engine has come up with another way for us to waste time at work on our computers. Google not only made a doodle to celebrate the 155th Anniversary of The Pony Express but it's also a game.

Head here to learn more about the doodle and just head to the Google homepage if you have some extra free time on your hands.

The first mail delivered via The Pony Express left St. Joseph, Missouri on April 3, 1860 and arrived in San Francisco on April 14. The telegraph and other factors would result in The Pony Express lasting less than two years.

You can learn more from The Pony Express National Museum here.
