Cedar Park police on lookout for credit card thief

The Cedar Park Police Department is on the lookout for a person they say used stolen credit cards. It happened April 24.

Police say the person stole the credit cards during a vehicle burglary in Cedar Park. The individual then used the credit cards to purchase $35,000 worth of gift cards from Target stores located in Cedar Park and Austin.

If you have any information about the identity of the suspect you're asked to call 512-260-4654 or email clarence.priestley@cedarparktexas.gov.

You may also submit an anonymous tip by texting the keyword CPPD and your tip to 847411 or use the CPPD Tips app available for download on your phone. 

You're asked to reference Case # 1604-0456 if you contact police.
