14-year-old high school student arrested for threat

A 14-year-old was arrested for making a terroristic threat at his school. The school district is working to see that the student is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, according to a press release.

According to Killeen ISD police, a 14-year-old freshman at the Ellison High School told other students that he had made a 'hit list' around 3 p.m. on Friday, February 1. The 14-year-old went on to tell students that he was going to come to school on Monday and inflict harm at the school campus.

Police officers who were stationed at the high school immediately arrested the student.

No one was hurt in this incident. “Student safety is our number one priority every day and we will always arrest anyone who makes such a threat," said Killeen ISD Superintendent John Craft.

The 14-year-old was removed from Ellison High School and charged.
