McDonald's raising money for viral sign campaign

A Williamson County grass roots campaign supporting law enforcement is about to get even bigger. Seven McDonald's restaurants will donate a portion tonight's proceeds to the "Blessed Are The Peacemakers" campaign.

The yards signs are a show of support for law enforcement officers. A group of Williamson County leaders raised money to print them a few weeks ago.

The signs are free and, are being snapped up as quickly as they can be printed. So far, about 3,000 of the signs dot yards around Central Texas.

The money from Tuesday's sales between 5:00-8:00 at the following McDonald's will go toward printing more signs:

Hutto, Tx

319 University Dr
Round Rock, Tx
