UPDATE: Del Valle halfway house escapee arrested in East Austin

UPDATE: A man who escaped the Austin Transition Center in Del Valley early Friday was captured in East Austin.

Sergio Solis was on a computer in the Terrazas Public Library on Cesar Chavez Street when U.S. Marshals captured him.

Hector Gomez, the U.S. Marshals PIO, said a tip from the public led to Solis.

The Marshal's office sent in a couple of undercover deputies and took Solis into custody, officials said. Solis was wearing clothing that covered up his tattoos.
