KUT Twine Time host and Texas Radio Hall-of-Famer Paul Ray died today

AUSTIN, Texas - Jan. 15, 2016 - Paul Ray, Texas Radio Hall of Famer and host of "Twine Time" on KUTX, died today He was 73.

Ray hosted "Twine Time" on KUTX 98.9 - which spun out of KUT 90.5 as a full-time music service in 2013 - since 1978 when he teamed up with KUT music hosts Bill Bentley and Pat Crumhorn for the monthly rhythm and blues show, which went weekly in 1979.
