Thousands of people are expected to march at the Capitol in the name of education. It’s part of a rally to promote National School Choice Week.
The march begins at 10:30 a.m. and is followed by the rally at 11 a.m.
Both events are part of the third annual Texas School Choice Rally.
Governor Greg Abbott and 17 mayors across Central Texas have named this National School Choice Week which promotes different education options.
Specifically giving parents the power to send their child to a school of their choice and needs.
Today’s rally is one of 1,100 events in the state and 16,000 nationwide.
