The West Lake Hills Police Department has issued a news release regarding a possible sexual assault at the Westlake High School.
The press release reads as follows:
During the weekend of November 14-15, 2015, an incident occurred at a residence in West Lake Hills that involved several people. After conducting a thorough investigation into this incident, investigators from the West Lake Hills Police Department met with an Assistant District Attorney from the Travis County District Attorney's office on January 20, 2016 to review the case. Based upon the investigation and the recommendation from the District Attorney's office, the case has been suspended pending receipt of test results from the Texas Department of Public Safety. When the test results come back, the West Lake Hills Police Department investigators will again consult with the District Attorney's office to determine any next steps that need to be taken.
