ACL Fest 2015 kicks off with Foo Fighters

The first weekend of the Austin City Limits Music Festival kicked off today.

Festival organizers are expecting nearly 150,000 people to grace Zilker for the two-weekend music festival.

The city gets a lot of money from this and some of it goes to help the park it's held in.  The Austin Parks and Rec Department tells us $3 per every $100 spent on an ACL ticket goes back into the parks maintenance account for upkeep of the Zilker Park District.

This weekend, Foo Fighters, Austin's native son Gary Clark Jr., Deadmouse, Alabama Shakes, Shakey Graves... the list of performers goes on and on.
