Annual "Warrant Round Up" happens March 15

If you have an outstanding ticket or citation, you'd better pay up now.  The annual "Warrant Round Up" happens March 15.

Law Enforcement Officers met at the Austin Police Department Friday morning to urge those who haven't paid their fines to do so immediately. Right now in Austin, there are 171,000 outstanding warrants.

"Our intent is not to embarrass you in front of your family, we want you to take the initiative to take care of these. Do it for your livelihood, we don't want to interrupt you or do anything that will affect your employment.", says Commander Todd Gage of the Austin Police Department.

Court officials say there are payment plan options available for those struggling financially. To learn more click here
