APD identifies Mopac crash victim
Austin police have identified Stephen Crowell Jr., 32, as the victim of last month's fatal crash on Mopac.
According to police, Crowell died on September 28th after his motorcycle crashed into the back of a SUV while traveling south on Mopac around 2 AM.
Police said Crowell smelled of alcohol and believe that was a factor in the crash. The case is still being investigated.
APD said this is the 52nd fatal traffic crash of 2016.
