AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The Austin Police Department has identified the man killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, June 29 as 31-year-old Brendan James O'Connor.
According to police, O'Connor was traveling southbound on Webberville Road, approaching the Springdale Road, when he struck the curb of a small median. O'Connor was launched from his 2015 BMW motorcycle and into the utility pole.
The motorcycle came to rest on Springdale Road, and O'Connor died at the scene.

This is Austin's 38th fatal traffic crash of 2019, resulting in 39 fatalities this year.
