APD searches for suspect in gas station robbery

The Austin Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in an aggravated robbery of the Valero Gas Station located at 2101 Boca Raton Drive.

According to police, the suspect arrived at the location in a newer model black four door hatchback sedan.  The suspect demanded cash from the register at gunpoint and then fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was last seen driving northbound in the 11200 block of the South I-35 frontage road.

The suspect is described as an approximately 30 year old, White or Hispanic male, approximately 5’10” with a medium to heavy build, dark hair and goatee.

He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, t-shirt, cargo shorts and tennis shoes.
