A 10-year-old girl has been missing since Tuesday, after investigators say her mother took her from Oak Hill Elementary School in southwest Austin.

A warrant for arrest has now been issued for the 10-year-old's mother, Sarah Marcella Jordan.

The 10-year-old and her two other sisters, a 13-year-old and a 16-year-old, are listed as missing by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The girls had previously been placed into foster care by CPS due to alleged abuse.

Staff at Oak Hill Elementary were reportedly aware Jordan might attempt to take the 10-year-old. Tuesday afternoon, a school employee tried to prevent the 10-year-old from going with her older sister, but she was grabbed by her mother and they ran to a nearby van.

They drove off in a vehicle described as a grey or green 2002 Ford van. The license plate number is BSD3195. Authorities believe the girls have been taken out of the state.

The 10-year-old girl is described as a white female, 4'10'' and weighs about 60 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, black pants and white shoes.
