A dead body has been recovered from Lady Bird Lake, according to ATCEMS.
First responders were called out to the river-like reservoir shortly after 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15 for reports of a body floating in the water. According to the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, a male in his forties was found floating around the 200 block of East Riverside Drive.
The Austin Police Department is conducting an investigation into the death.
