Austin Police investigate rock throwing on I-35 Saturday morning

The Austin Police Department is investigating another rock throwing incident. This one happened early Saturday around 6:40 in the southbound lanes of I-35 near Dean Keaton.

The driver called police to report a rock came from the upper decks and hit his bumper. There were no injuries.

APD arrested a man on Friday for throwing a rock on to the interstate. At the time he was arrested police said they did not think he was responsible for all of the attacks. This latest case is confirmation of that.

For two years the rock throwing incidents have terrorized drivers along I-35. Austin Police say they will move forward with putting together a task force to catch the person or people responsible.
