Police said home invasion leaves man in critical condition

UPDATE: A man remains in critical life-threatening condition after a violent home invasion in North Austin. 

According to police it happened on the 10400 block of Little Pebble Drive, around 2:13 p.m. on Tuesday. 

Austin Police said the two suspects are still on the loose. However, they believe there to be no immediate threat to the public at this time. 

The suspects  are described  by police as two tall black men. Police said the men entered a residence and confronted the victim. After, police said the men fled in an unknown vehicle. 

When officers arrived at the scene they found a 38-year-old man with a gunshot wound police said. 

The victim was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center in critical condition and is being treated for life-threatening injuries said police. 

Police are still investigating and are asking commuters to avoid the area.
