AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Austin police are investigating a suspicious death in Givens Park and have identified the victim.
The victim has been identified as 47-year-old Andre Lanier Davis Jr.
Officers were called to 3900 E. 12th Street just before 11 p.m. on April 9 in response to a call about a possible shooting or stabbing.
Paramedics and officers arrived to find a man with what officials say was obvious trauma. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No person is in custody at this time but officials say that robbery appears to have been the motive.
Officials say that one of the suspects was described as being tall, stocky and last seen wearing a black jacket. Suspects were possibly seen leaving in a black Nissan car.
