Austin Police say missing child was found safe. The child returned home safely on his own.

Austin Police are looking for missing 8 year old boy last seen in Southwest Austin near Lacrosse & Spruce Canyon.
Police describe the child as having blonde hair and blue eyes.
The boy was last seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts with a white stripe.
APD alerted the public that the child was missing around 4:45 pm Tuesday via twitter.
