Austin police search for bank robbery suspect

Austin police are searching for a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Wednesday.

Police responded to a bank robbery in the 11200 block of north I-35 near Braker Lane around 4:30 p.m.

APD describes the suspect as a white male who is 40 to 50 years old. He is about 5'8'' to 5'10'' with a thin build. The suspect was last seen in a blue jacket, grey hat, blue jeans, black shoes and wearing glasses. The suspect also has a beard. 

APD is asking the public to call APD's Robbery Tip Line at (512) 974-5092 if they have any information.
